A personalized roadmap that
actually adapts to you

No other SAT prep tool builds a study plan around your diagnostic, adjusts it as you improve, and tells you exactly what to work on each day. This is the feature that turns practice into progress.

Starts with your diagnostic

A short test identifies your weakest question types. Your roadmap is built from those results — not a generic template everyone gets.

Difficulty ladder

Questions start easy when you're learning a topic and get harder as your accuracy improves. Below 50%? You get easy. Above 85%? You get hard. The system moves with you.

Daily prioritized tasks

Each day, your roadmap tells you exactly what to drill, which skills to focus on, and when to take a full practice test. No guessing what to study next.

Skill-level targeting

See exactly which of the 19 question types are costing you points. Your weakest skills get more reps. Mastered skills drop off. Every session moves the score.

Practice test milestones

Full-length exams are scheduled into your plan at the right intervals. Already scoring 1400+? You start with the hard tests. The roadmap knows where you are.

Adapts as you improve

Finish a drill and your accuracy goes up? The roadmap recalculates. Topics you've mastered get replaced by the next weakest area. Your plan is never stale.

How to prepare

From baseline to breakthrough

01
Take the diagnostic

A short test tells you where you stand and which question types are costing you the most points.

02
Get your study roadmap

Your results generate a personalized week-by-week plan — which topics to drill, when to take full exams, and what to review.

03
Follow the plan

Each day, your roadmap tells you exactly what to work on. Practice drills, full exams, and mistake reviews — all scheduled around your weak spots.

04
Watch the score move

As you practice, the roadmap adapts. Topics you've mastered drop off. Weak areas get more reps. Your score goes up because your time goes where it counts.

Understanding the exam

What is the Digital SAT?

The Digital SAT is the current version of the SAT, administered on a computer since 2024. It's shorter (2 hours 14 minutes), adaptive, and includes a built-in Desmos calculator for the entire math section.

Adaptive means: your performance on Module 1 determines whether you get an easier or harder Module 2. A harder Module 2 unlocks higher scores (450–800), while an easier Module 2 caps your range (200–600). That's why practicing at the right difficulty level matters.

FAQs

Common questions about SAT prep

What is the Digital SAT?
The Digital SAT is the current version of the SAT, fully digital since 2024. It's shorter than the old paper SAT (about 2 hours 14 minutes), adaptive (your performance on Module 1 determines which Module 2 you get), and includes a built-in Desmos calculator for the entire math section.
How many questions does uMerit have?
uMerit has over 11,000 SAT practice questions across Reading & Writing and Math, plus 25 full-length practice tests. Every question is aligned to the current Digital SAT format and covers all 19 College Board question types.
How is uMerit different from other SAT prep platforms?
Most platforms give you questions and stop there. uMerit adds a personalized study roadmap that adapts in real time, per-choice explanations that show you why every wrong answer is wrong (not just the right one), spaced review of your mistakes, and a full exam-day interface so nothing feels unfamiliar on test day.
How long should I study for the SAT?
It depends on your starting score and target. For meaningful improvement, we recommend at least 4-8 weeks of consistent practice. uMerit's study plan adapts to your timeline — whether you have 2 weeks or 6 months — and tells you exactly what to work on each day.
Does uMerit include PSAT support?
The SAT and PSAT share the same question format and content areas. Practicing with uMerit's SAT question bank prepares you for both exams simultaneously.
Can I use uMerit alongside a school counselor or tutor?
Absolutely. Many students use uMerit to supplement the guidance they get from counselors and tutors. The diagnostic results and performance data give your counselor clear visibility into your strengths and weak spots.
